Change of mind returns within 30 days on unopened items; customer pays return postage. Faulty items are always covered under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy, or anywhere else on this site, limits those rights. They apply to sale items too.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If something you bought from us is faulty, damaged in transit, not as described, or not what you ordered:
- Email sales@goodmangrips.com.au within a reasonable time of noticing the problem.
- Include your order number, a short description of the problem and photos.
- We’ll reply with next steps. For a major failure you can choose a refund or a replacement. For a minor failure we may choose to repair, replace or refund.
If we need the item back, we’ll tell you how to return it. Faulty items are fully covered under the Australian Consumer Law, including the cost of return postage.
Refunds go back to the original payment method.
Change of mind
The law doesn’t require change-of-mind refunds, but we offer them on these terms:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery.
- The item must be unopened and unused, in its original condition and packaging.
- You pay the cost of returning the item. Original shipping isn’t refunded on change-of-mind returns.
- Once we receive and check the item, we’ll refund the item price to your original payment method.
Custom and bulk orders
Custom-printed chalk and other made-to-order items can’t be returned for change of mind. They are still covered by the consumer guarantees if they are faulty or not what was agreed.
